Box 3908, Beijing 100039, China ABSTRACT A boundary element method for solving ID transient convective-diffusion equation with radiant heat flux and phase change moving interface is developed and used to analyze the frozen process in CPL condenser. INTRODUCTION The numerical simulation of two-phase free surface and moving interface prob- lems is the frontier and hot spots in numerical computation. Boundary element method(BEM) has provided potential advantages of storage and computational requirements over finite difference method and finite element method.
