Abstract
This paper presents a new and general method to include mechanical finite element models within an electronics simulator. The approach used directly transforms a finite element into an equivalent electrical network. With that, we accomplish integrated simulations of electronics and complicated, irregular mechanical structures which are very typical in microsystem technology.
