Abstract

Dumont", R. de Oliveira* "Civil Engineering Department, PUC/RJ, 22453-900 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ^Escola de Minas, UFOP/MG, 35400-000 Ouro Preto, Brazil ABSTRACT This paper summarizes the main results of a Ph.D. research work, as concerns the generalization of the Hybrid Boundary Element Method for dealing with time- dependent problems [1]. The interpolation function used to represent the kinematical field corresponds to the fundamental solution of the stress field, taken independently of time. Two examples are shown, for both problems of potential and elasticity, to attest the correctness of the method. 1.
