Abstract

A control system design and analysis package, developed recently by the authors, is described. The entire package fits on a 3.5-inch high density floppy disk, and runs on any IBM compatible personal computer equipped with a numeric co-processor. The package allows the analysis and design of single- input single-output systems using transfer functions or state equations. It is suitable for use by students in an undergraduate engineering program as well as for practising engineers, and runs well under DOS, Windows, and OS/2 Warp.
