Abstract
This paper presents the analytical results from the study of the ozone episodes happened in Cartagena and its surrounding area during the period 1996-1998. Data from five stations measuring ozone spread in the metropolitan area were used in the study. These stations belong to the Automatic Monitoring Network of the City Hall of Cartagena. We have focused on those days with the highest concentrations of ozone in any of those sampling points. The final object of the study is to determine the climatic situations that deal to the presence of high ozone concentrations in any of the stations located in our area.
