Abstract

Abstract Many kinds of track circuits have been widely used in railway and light transit systems, including jointed track circuit and jointless track circuit. It is no doubt that the regulation of current track circuits and the development of new ones under some specific situations are very boring. A graphics modeling based simulator is proposed in this paper. Taking advantages of boundary conditions analysis method, any kind of track circuit in any working state can be expressed succinctly; meanwhile, the method is easy to be realized by computer algorithm. Based on this method, the graphics model of track circuit can be deduced. Just as in Simulink of MATLAB, a track circuit simulation model can be described by the linkage of many basic track circuit segments. Then the related simulation database is generate
