Abstract
This study treats effects of optimization that considers a simultaneous design for topology and actuator locations to reduce the structural distortion of space truss structures supporting antenna reflectors. In the space environments, to cor- rect the shape distortions with actuators actively is required for space structures, because it is difficult to predict correctly the indefinite sources of shape distor- tions on large complicate structures. At first, we evaluate the effects of structural topology on structural distortion with two-dimensional truss structures through numerical simulation. The results indicate that the performances of structural topology are effective for reducing structural distortion. We also formulated a s
