Abstract
A behavioural analysis is presented of individual decisions to participate in discretionary activities outside the home, in relation to the duration of that individual's dominant activities carried out (in or outside the home) before and/or jointly with the same discretionary activities and to other variables describing the individual's programme of activities, the characteristics of the supply of transport and the social and economic condition of the individual and his/her family.
