Abstract
The task was to develop a roofing, system for a waste deposit plant with a total area of 350.000 qm in order to cover it step-by-step over a period of 30 years by dividing the deposit plant into 8 phases depending on the frequency of use. Therefore EPL suggested a pneumatic construction for which an air-stabilized membrane construction is anchored by an earth-filled foundation ring. This construction covers in the first phase an area of about 110.000 qm with a totally clear span structure. 2. Reason for roofing of a waste disposal plant ?
