INTRODUCTION Emilio Perez Pinero was born in August, 1935 and died in July, 1972, at the age of thirty seven. When talking of the work of Emilio Perez Pinero, it is very important to take account of the fact that his professional career spanned no more than nine years. No wonder, therefore, that many of his structural systems remained unfinished. Perez Pinero mainly worked using two different types of structure: knock-down reticulated structures and deployable structures. Many of the structures which Perez Pinero actually put into practice and constructed belong to the first group: Examples of these are: - The Travelling Theatre for Festivals. - Cinerama Projection Hall. - Roofing for the Paleochristian Museum of Tarragona. - The Dome of the Dali Mus
