Abstract
Renewals of the track can be done on absolute principle according to a new design, in which optimization of rail shifting has been included. Projection is checked on the basis of the analytically defined shape of the track in sections, straight lines, transition curves and circular curves. The shifts of the track are expressed numerically from the differences between the actual state of the track and analytically defined parameters of the track. The values of the transverse found on the check points, supply information to be used in repairing the track by means of automatic directing and packing machines.
