Abstract
The history of the Church of Our Lady in Dresden was presented at the STREMA 93 conference in Bath, together with the scientific bases for the archaeological clearance of the rubble [1]. At this stage, work was only just beginning on putting the theoretical plans into practice. Since then, however, the rubble has been cleared, and work has been started on the reconstruction of this important church. The key results of the clearance work will be outlines from an archaeological and a structural angle in the presentation.
