Abstract
A direct domain/boundary element method is presented for the transient dynamic analysis of homogeneus isotropic elastoplastic Reissner-Middlin plate with smooth boundary. Using the elastostatic fundamental solution of Reissner- Middlin plate the effect of the inertia and the dynamic external load appear in domain integrals in the boundary integral formulation of the problem. The numerical implementation is came out using the integral equation descritized in quadratic boundary elements and interior cells. The solution is obtained by an explicit time integration scheme employed on the incremental form of the matrix equation of motion. A numerical example for the forced vibration of a simply supported elastoplastic Reissner plate subjected to the influ
