Abstract
A 2D hybrid Boundary Element-Finite Element formulation for the analysis of nonlinear magnetic field problems is presented. The approach uses the magnetic scalar potential in curl-free FEM regions and the magnetic field in the BEM regions including field sources. Saturable magnetic materials are modelled in FEM regions and the nonlinearity is treated using Fixed-Point technique which does not require to update the system matrix at each iteration. The method is applied to a model problem and the accuracy of the results is discussed. 1 Int
