Abstract
Decision support system for hydroelectric power plant design D. Hajdukovic, B. Djordjevic Institute of Hydraulic Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, P. 0. Box 895, 11000 Belgrade, Yugoslavia ABSTRACT The decision support system for power plant design discussed in this paper is knowledge-based, and was conceived and formed in the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade. The system consists of a knowledge base, model base, decision generator and multi criteria optimization block, and takes into consideration all possible variations of power plant disposition. The method of multicriteria optimization (the iterative compromise ranking) is used to determine the optimal amongst possible alternatives, considering previously determined criteria.
