Abstract
The present article proposes an efficient method of reconstructing a polyhedron solid from three orthographic views. First, a surface model (intermediate model) corresponding to these three views is created by examining the corresponding relations among the three views. The inter- mediate model is considered to include false faces, false edges and false vertices as well as true ones. The main problem is how to efficiently detect and remove false elements from the intermediate model against the exponential increase of the number of the combinations of candidate faces. This article treats this-false element removal process as a determi- nation problem of status valuesCtrue, false) of all the geometric ele
