Invited Paper Computer animation procedure with rendering techniques using low cost personal computers A.F. Montagu CAO Center, Faculty of Architecture, Design & Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires, R. Argentina ABSTRACT This paper discusses the advantages and limitations of existing software for video- animation procedures from the architects' and urban designers' point of view, considering how they conceive "morphological space". One of the main advantages of using animation techniques is the simulation of the * 'space- time continuum" concept during the design process. For the first time in history, it has become possible to overcome the Renaissance concept of a view from a single point representing a static space.
