Abstract
A hybrid time domain method for field radiation through aperture G. Cerri, R. De Leo & P. Russo Dipartimento di Elettronica ed Autornatica, Universitri Politecnica delle Marche, Italy. Abstract This paper presents a new hybrid method for the analysis of the penetration of electromagnetic field inside a metallic enclosure through slots. The model is based on a time domain approach and the solution of the electromagnetic problem is achieved by a hybrid method, characterized by the combination of the Finite Difference in Time Domain (FDTD), and the Method of Moments in Time Domain (MoMTD) that solves a magnetic field integral equation (MFIE); this technique allows to investigate the complex geometry of the problem and to evaluate the strong coupling between the source and the victim structure. 1 Introduction The evaluation of the shielding effectiveness (SE) of a metallic enclosure is a classical topic in the EMC literature, because of its fundamental importance to design and to manufacture exte
