In this paper, Based on the photoelasticity and a beam model an experimental method is proposed to analyze the LMTM method, the influence of the distribution and scales of the microstructures will be investigated and they will be compared with the theoretical model by Finite Element Method. The numerical calculations are conducted with ANSYS program. From the comparison, the correlation between the theoretical and experimental results is accurate, and the results show that LMTM method can give rea
