Abstract
Combined heat transfer and diffusion phenomena in composite material products are studied with experimental and theoretical methods. Heat transfer coefficients and conductivities of GRP composite tubes are measured and used in solving industrial problems. Spray coated steel samples are tested in various temperatures and chemicals to estimate the difrusivity of the coating. Heat transfer phenomena are simulated using a program for solving nonlinear partial differential equations. The optimum design of large industrial heat transfer composite tubes is considered using fuzzy customer satisfaction goals. 1 Introduction Heat transfer and combined thermal stress and diffusion phenomena prese
