Q Liu2 1The Research Institute of the Agricultural Equipment Engineering, Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, 212013,China 2The State Key Laboratory of Environmental Geochemistry, Institute of Geochemistry, The Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang ,550002,China Abstract This paper studies the Chlamydomonas reinhardtii’s influence on two types of rocks corrosion process by comparing the concentration changes of K, Mg, and Ca in 100ml culture solution of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii with diameter < 0.074mm 1g rock powder (quartz monzonite and limestone). The result shows that the quartz monzonite corrosion process is accelerated by Chlamydomonas reinhardtii an inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase-acetazolamide can suppress the Chlamydomonas reinhardti’s acceleration of the quartz monzonite corrosion process.
