Abstract
The BIOSCOMP exercise evaluated the performance of Andra's Aquabios code for modelling the impact of toxic chemicals released from a radioactive waste repository through intercomparison with two well-established codes (AMBER and MEPAS). With a reservation concerning the crop spray irrigation model, the various components of Aquabios yielded very similar results to AMBER and MEPAS when the same input data were used. This can be considered as a positive evaluation of Aquabios.
