EMEP Atmospheric Emission Database Guest contribution Krzysztof Olendrzynski, Sophia Mylona and Egil St0ren Meteorological Synthesizing Centre West (MSC-W) Norwegian Meteorological Institute, P.O.Box 43 Blindern, N-0313 Oslo, Norway Since the early 1980s, parties to the Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP) have reported their emissions for sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, ammonia, non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOC), methane, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide (reported as under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change). From 1995 onwards, they should also report their emissions on heavy metals (priority metals: cadmium, mercury, lead) and selected persistent organic pollutants, including relevant data on production and use, for previous years if possible.
