Abstract
Development of an Emission Calculation Module as a Part of a Model Network for Regional Atmospheric Modelling A contribution to subproject GENEMIS-2 R. Friedrich, A. Heidegger and F Kudermann University of Stuttgart, Institute of Energy Economics and the Rational Use of Energy, Hessbruehlstr. 49a, D- 70565 Stuttgart Objectives The objective of the project is the development of an emission calculation module (CAREAJR/ECM), which can be combined directly with atmospheric modelling systems. The emission module will give the basis for calculating emission data in high temporal, spatial and species resolution "just in time". This means, emission data will be provided online within numerical simulations of transport and chemical transformation of air pollutants. The module will be usable in combination with different atmospheric models, for variable modelling areas and any modelling episode of
