Abstract
The Garonne is considered one of the largest river in France with a stream length of 525 km of stream length from its source in the Pyrenean Massif (Spain) to its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean (France). Recent observations have shown a dramatic decrease in the discharge during the summer low-water periods.
