Abstract
To study the time and mixture effects on the desorption behavior of contaminants in soil separately, samples of phenol-, aniline-, and quinoline- contaminated soil were stored for 20 months (aged samples), and samples of phenol/aniline- and phenol/quinoline-mixtures were prepared for permeameter desorption tests. Test results suggested samples exposed to contaminants for long period of time were less effectively recovered than samples contaminated for only a few days. For the mixture studies, decontaminant solutions that are effective for individual contaminants still appear to be effecti
