Abstract
In Russia, which is a vast country with ^homogeneous geographical distribution of industry the main component of the unfavourable effect of anthropogenic activity on natural ecosystems often results from the atmospheric pollutant transport from the remote sources. Therefore, in order to develop the effective strategy of emission reduction, not only the transboundary, but also the long-range part of air pollution on the national scale must be properly estimated.
