Abstract
The numerical modeling of the hydrodynamic equations gained a lot of attention in the past decade. This is basically attributed to the advantages numerical modeling has over the physical models; let alone the impossibility of constructing a physical model for some prototypes, e.g. the continental shelf. However, most of the researchers waste a lot of time just to build models that are already developed by others. In order not to re-invent the wheel, the current paper is a first attempt to build an elementary model on which further extension can be easily performed. The main target of the model is to simulate secondary circulation in compound channels. The model uses the finite difference method to discretize the full 3D Navier Stokes equations. The program has a modular s
