Abstract
Central Japan Railway operates 515km bullet and 2000km conventional lines. Especially for the Tokaido line, we operate 220 trains one way a day, so that this line has 440 trains a day. Now Central Japan Railway invests to introduce computerized interlocking system to secure perfect safety with the help of computerized interlocking system. So we need to changeover the interlocking system from interrelay locking system to computerized interlocking system. This most busiest line in Japan is operated even in the midnight that there is no time, when the train operation stops perfectly. So we have develpped a special method to changeover.
