Abstract

: This paper describes a redundant modular distributed microcomputer system adopted by automatic train protection system (ATP). The system uses a redundant master-slave serial bus architecture. Its important subsystems are hot-standby. The communication of subsystems is carried out in the light of the HDLC/SDLC protocol.
