Abstract
The non-linear interaction of a moving rolling stock with a deformable rail- way track with random imperfections is analysed. The stochastic stability and the asymptotic stability of the perturbed motion, using Itoo's differ- ential system and solving the corresponding Fokker - Planck - Kolmogorov equation, is estimated. 1. Introduction The phenomenon of the loss of stability of vehicle motion has been the object of a number of periodical articles and monographs, beginning e.g.with [1],[2]. All older papers are restricted practically to the assessment of the state in the first approach. That means that the behaviour of the perturbed state oi the system is described by a linear differential system. The linear part certai
