Abstract
The liquefaction risk analysis at Catania city (Cascone et al/), shows that the risk is more relevant at S.G. La Rena site. Three different methods for evaluating liquefaction risk, based on CPT are employed. The methods considered are those proposed by Robertson and Wride (Fear)^, Suzuki et al/, and Olsent At present, only 11 mechanical cone penetration tests at the S.G. La Rena site are available. The aforesaid three methods have been applied to these tests and the results were compared.
