Abstract
One of the emerging issues in town planning is that of the effects of the localisation of business and services activities on mobility. In Italy in particular the transformation of sectors such as the food distribution chain and the lack of care in planning the localisation of new activities are causing uncontrolled changes with devastating effects on the urban system.
