Abstract
This research focuses on the results of an experiment done regarding the structural performance of precast concrete columns constructed using the main bar post-insertion system. Its main objective is to determine the influence of using high-strength concrete to the seismic behavior of reinforced concrete columns when subjected to high axial loading. Also, an analysis on the shear and bond splitting capacities of the columns would be done. Here, shock and impact are represented by the forces brought about by the occurrence of earthquakes and to better assess the reaction of the precast concrete columns to the onset of seismic movement, additional monolithic specimens
