Abstract
Computer tools are employed in most coastal engineering projects. The Group of Ocean and Coastal Engineering of the University of Cantabria has long experience in the development and usage of numerical models for beach studies. In the last 10 years, many different numerical models has been tested and modified for simulating all the processes involved in coastal dynamics, and finally the most convenient were selected. As the origin of each model is different (most of them are developed in Univ. of Cantabria but some come from other institutions), in 1995 it was decided to develop a easy-to-the-user environment, common for all models, with direct data connection between models. In this paper, the final system, which facilit
