Abstract
Nonlinear elastic-plastic model of soil-structure interaction in time domain B. Wrana Structure Mechanics Institute, Civil Engineering Department, Technical University Krakow, ul. Warszawska 24, 31-155 Krakow, Poland SUMMARY A nonlinear soil-structure interaction model in a time domain is considered. Nonlinear effects are calculated from elastic-plastic CAP material model of soil adjoining the structure foundations. Non-reflecting boundary condition (NRBC) for simulation of unbounding far field are used for artificial boundary. Numerical method for solving local nonlinear equation of motion is defined. 1.
