Abstract
A planning of a conservation of monuments with preservation agents always raises the question, whether the measure will be successful or not. In this paper, a sequence of test procedures is proposed, which enables a precast of the suitability of possible preservation agents. The tests have to be carried out on stone material from or as close as possible to that of the monuments.
