Abstract

The paper presents a system designed for a preliminary inventory of the sea bottom areas chosen for localisation of an offshore structures and exploration of mineral resources. The installation has been elaborated to determine a possible threat due to a debris of post-military installations and other submerged objects in the Polish economical zone of the Baltic Sea. The system, named TODS 400, allows its continuous modifications, depending on the goals to be achieved.
