Abstract
The aim of the paper is to outline a consistent method for treating changes in overall macroscopic material parameters of produced by some point centres of a microdistortion. The paper treats the problem in microscopic terms. Main emphasis is focused at the formulation of a general methodology in which a semiphenomenological treatment, leading to relatively simple closed-form expressions, can be formulated.
