Abstract
Galerkin-Bubnov isoparametric boundary element analysis of the wire antenna arrays D. Poljak, V. DoriC & D, VuEiCiC Department of Electronics, University of Split, Croatia Abstract An array of wire antenna elements is analysed by solving the set of electric field integral equations (EFIEs). These coupled integral equations are handled via the Galerkin-Bubnov Boundary Integral Equation Method (GB-BIEM) featuring the isoparametric elements. Once solving the set of integral equations using the proposed approach the currents along the wires are determined which enables one to determine other important parameters of the given antenna configuration. Some illustrative numerical results for currents induced along the elements of wire antenna array are presented in this work. 1 Introduction The analysis of wire antennas of arbitrary shape is of great interest in antenna theory and in various elecetromagnetic compatibility (EMC) applications. Up to now, not only straight thin wire arrays but also loop a
