Abstract
A general formulation for the radiation and scattering from an arbitrary thin wire configuration based on Pocklington integral equations is presented in the paper. Integral equations for currents along the wires is handled via Galerkin-Bubnov boundary element method (GB-BEM). There is no request of imposition of additional constraints at the junction points when the wire junction problem is of interest, which is one of the main advantages of the method. The efficiency of the proposed method is illustrated on thin wire loop antenna and L-shape wire antenna. Computational results agree satisfactorily with results obtained by other methods. Introduction The analysis of the wire antenna arrays, wire loop or wire grid structures is still of considerable interest in the area of the
