Abstract
We use the Method of Fundamental Solutions (MFS) to investigate the numerical solution of three-dimensional Signorini boundary-value problems. The characteristic of these problems is that, on part of the boundary, the boundary conditions, expressed in the form of equali- ties and inequalities, alternate at certain transition curves, the num- ber and positions of which are unknown. These conditions are directly incorporated into the least squares minimization scheme of the MFS. The method is applied to a three-dimensional electropainting prob- lem related to the coating of vehicle roofs. The numerical
