Abstract
As it is well known, numerical methods are not easily applicable to problems with singular situations, giving results with local or global inaccuracy which invalidate the numerical solutions obtained from correctly created models. Such is the case with BEM applied to dynamic problems of incompressible media, where Poisson's ratio is near to the 0.5 limit value. The case concerns different engineering topics; an example being, Soil Dynamics in saturated clays. With v=0.5, the use of computer programs based on the expressions of fundamental solutions available in technical literature is not possible, due to the Oxoo forms. The approximation of the limit value as 0.4999... commonly leads to inaccurate results. Several works dealing with this
