Abstract
It is well known that high computational and mesh generation costs related to geometrical singularity (edges, corner points and so on) can be reduced to a minimum by using special edge and corner elements providing the precise singular behaviour near those points. However, for three-space variables, in contrast to the 2D case, the problem of obtaining the singular exponents and angular functions required is a difficulty of its own. For elastic polyhedral corners of arbitrary geometry, a semi-analytical approach has been developed. This is based on the reduction of the Bound- ary Integral Equations (BIE) to a
