Abstract

Numerical analysis of non-steady convective diffusion problem with chain chemical reactions byBEM N. Samec and L. It is very important to analyse the chemical reaction system in convective diffusion problem such as the combustion processes. The main purpose of this work is to develop and compare the different integral formulations, based on existed fundamental solutions. A few integral equations is formed for the chain chemical reaction system using a different approach of the reaction rate formation. The boundary element solution is stable for both large Peclet number and large reaction rate constant. 1 Introduction In general, the diffusion-convection equation is the basic governing equation describing transport phenomena
