Abstract

A boundary element formulation for inelastic and anisotropic bodies under complex loading L. Belicchi, S. Corradi and M. Furthermore anisotropic solutions, which take into account new materials and new constitutive relationships, should be considered and analysed. Due to the pronounced plastic behaviour in many of the matrix metals (e.g. aluminium or titanium) used in metal-matrix composites, plasticity plays an important role in composites fracture mechanics. Kenaga et al. [1] proposed a new yielding function for Boron/Aluminium composites whose behaviour is described within an anisotropic elastic plastic formulation. It has been utilised in this paper. On the other hand, following th
