Abstract
The basis of a new boundary element method adapted to wide frequency range applications is proposed in this paper. The formulation employs the frequency domain dynamic fundamental solutions of the problems. Random geometrical parameters are introduced in the description of the boundaries. The left and right hands of these equations are then multiplied by the different kinematic variables. The mean of the new equations is considered, and the new variables of the formulation are the different stochastic moments of the mechanical variables. This formulation is tested on different structures, such as membranes, plates and assembled bi-dimensional structures. 1 Introduction It is generally impossible to carry out analytical solutions like modal ana
