Abstract
A methodology for the worst case estimation of dynamic railway track based on the convex model of uncertainty is presented. The rail under moving axle load of the vehicle is idealized by an infinitely long elastic beam subjected to a force moving with constant speed on the Winkler foundation with spatially uncertain stiffness. The beam with the foundation is discretized by finite elements, and the uncertainty variables are assigned to foundation stiffness of all the elements
