Abstract
A geostatisticai formulation, based on Stochastic Indirect Bound- ary Element Method (SIBEM). is obtained for the determination of hydraulic conductivities in aquifers. Using a perturbation technique the governing equations are reduced to an asymptotic series of partial differential equations (PDEs). The ensuing perturbed PDEs are con- verted into boundary integral relations which can be manipulated to provide suitable expressions for the geostatistics of aquifers.
