Abstract
In this paper, evolutionary algorithms for finding some software task allocations in multiple computer systems have been proposed. Two-objective optimisation problems have been considered. The cost of distributed program performing and the cost of computers have been minimized. A genetic algorithm with ranking procedure has been studied. Moreover, an evolutionary algorithm, which respects the specific knowledge about an optimisation problem, has been constructed. Finally, simulation results have been included. 1. Introduction Current management information systems including GIS and remote sensing systems use several computers to speed up the processing of required data. From this reason software of the management information system is divided on some program modules, which are allocated to t
